“MØ” is the stage name of “Karen Ørsted”.
MØ started her musical career in mid-2000’s Copenhagen where she wrote and performed in a number of acts in the city’s punk scene. From there her network grew and she started to make featured guest appearances on a number of EDM tracks from the likes of Avicii and Major Lazer. In fact it was her break-out track with Major Lazer, “Lean On” which brought her to mainstream attention.
